Returns & Refund Policy

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Nothing in this policy excludes or limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Change of Mind Returns

Capital Ride Co. may offer exchanges or store credit for change of mind purchases at our discretion. To be eligible, items must be returned within 14 days of purchase, unused, in original condition and in original packaging, with proof of purchase provided. Special order, clearance or customised items may not be eligible for return. Shipping costs for change of mind returns are the responsibility of the customer. For hygiene and safety reasons, certain items such as helmets, protective gear or electrical components may not be eligible for return if opened or used.

Faulty or Damaged Goods

If a product is faulty, damaged or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible with proof of purchase and a description of the issue. Photos may be required where applicable. We will assess the product and provide a repair, replacement or refund in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. We may require the item to be returned for inspection before processing the claim.

Motorcycle and Vehicle Sales

Motorcycles and registrable vehicles are subject to specific statutory requirements and manufacturer warranties where applicable. Any manufacturer warranty information will be provided at the time of purchase. Used vehicles are sold with statutory warranties where required under ACT legislation.

Returns Process

To request a return, please contact Capital Ride Co. using the contact details listed on our website prior to returning any item. Items must not be returned without prior approval.

Shipping and Risk

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is confirmed to be faulty or incorrectly supplied. We recommend using a tracked shipping method, as Capital Ride Co. is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
